About Me
Hi, I’m Jake Mazurkiewicz, a rising Senior at Duquesne University on an academic full-ride scholarship studying data science. I am seeking data science roles. I have step-by-step cemented by knowledge through a data analytics internship, a top data engineering internship, and statistical machine learning undergraduate research.
I am skilled in Python (OOP and Data Science), SQL, Applied Mathematics, Data Visualization, and Data Engineering. I have applied machine learning techniques to real-world problems like using boosted decision trees to track pharmaceutical grants and identifying illegal sand mines in South Africa with remote sensing data. I am also an Amazon Web Services Certified Machine Learning Specialist, which gives m knowledge on the model and data lifecycle as well as cloud technologies.
Nothing excites me more than turning the potential energy of data into kinetic energy to create value, so please contact me!
